November 14, 2005 – Toronto, ON – G4 Canada, the network dedicated to all things video games, is preparing to cover an entertainment milestone -- the launch of the massively anticipated Xbox 360. Countdown to Xbox 360 is a marathon look at the hype and hysteria around the launch of the much anticipated Xbox 360. Gaming fanatics won’t want to miss the unprecedented coverage of one of the most anticipated gaming system launches ever! G4 Canada is also pleased to announce the addition of Training Camp, a hot new show to help viewers get the most out of their sports video games, to the fall programming. Also airing are Filter Holiday Hit List specials designed to guide you through the hottest gifts and gadgets for the holiday season. Joining gamers from around the world who have made the pilgrimage, G4’s Adam Sessler and Morgan Webb will host the special, reporting live from the exclusive Xbox 360: Zero Hour launch event in the Mojave Desert. Viewers will be granted an all-access pass to this true gaming paradise featuring hundreds of gaming stations, live entertainment and around-the-clock gaming, with the chance to play the full Xbox 360 launch line-up along with other highly anticipated games scheduled for release next year. Throughout the 3.6-hour countdown, Adam and Morgan will check in with G4 hosts at the three other launch events across the country. Geoff Keighley, reporting from Seattle, will mingle with Microsoft executives as he works to get the inside scoop. Meanwhile, Kristin Holt in New York and Kevin Pereira in Los Angeles will be celebrating on opposite coasts and talking to fans lining up to buy the new console.
