April 17th 2006, Toronto, ON - G4 Canada, the network dedicated to all things technology, is pleased to announce two special episodes of Call for Help featuring pet technology and the world of food technology.

Airing Friday, April 28th at 6:00 p.m. ET/PT, hosts Leo Laporte and Amber MacArthur will uncover the world of pets and technology. Leo and Amber will show viewers the latest and greatest “must have” gadgets for pet fanatics like a brush that can eliminate that doggy smell. This special episode also explores the trend towards microchipping furry friends and reveals the safety benefits of this new technology. Leo and Amber will demonstrate how to build a pet website and Amber will explore a new virtual community for pets where cats and dogs can meet new friends and receive treats from online viewers.

Leo and Amber take on the world of food and technology in a second specially-themed episode of Call for Help airing on Wednesday, May 24th at 6:00 p.m. ET/PT.
On this special episode, viewers will find out which gadgets a chef says are must-haves for die hard foodies and how a smart spud is changing the future of fresh foods. Amber will also dispel myths about computer food hacks. Leo and Amber as always continue to tackle the difficult questions from the inquisitive minds of computer users at all levels.
