A bunch of mini-games based on scenes or themes found in the movie, ‘Napoleon’ is a mish-mash of unrelated challenges that are neither very original nor very fun. Developing a 'Napoleon Dynamite' game is a brainstorm that is right up there with the ‘John Deere American Farmer’ game a few years back. Methinks someone has been sneaking sniffs of the Liquid Paper once again. Time to move their office to that broom closet in the basement and take away their stapler. Not even on par with some of the Java games you have accidentally stumbled over while surfing the Web, the tasks involve such incredibly exciting things as throwing a football farther than your Uncle Rico, feeding a stubborn llama, flying your magical unicorn and battling dive-bombing enemies and playing dodgeball…sideways. The whole mess is tied together with some semblance of a plot involving Uncle Rico and Kip launching a new business and the llama escaping its pen. As fans know, a large part of the film’s charm is due to its cherished one-liners. Not much of that audio is present in the game so it is seriously lacking in any chuckles at all.
As our hero Napoleon would say...Dang! It's a piece of crap, it doesn't work! Testify, Napoleon. Testify. ‘Napoleon Dynamite’ Rating: 3 / 10
