Pokemon Conquest: Gotta invade them all!

Pokemon Conquest Pokemon Conquest The Pokemon franchise has spun off into more directions than the octopus ride at your local fairground. There have been dungeon crawlers, race games, puzzle games and even a typing game. 'Pokemon Conquest' - the latest in the Pokemon sequels - is the most challenging and the most noteworthy of them all.

Pokemon Conquest An RPG game in the same vein as 'Fire Emblem' and the like, 'Conquest' has Pokemon and warlords joining forces and battling over the Ransei region. As the story goes, if one warlord can conquer the region's 17 kingdoms, the legendary Pokémon who created the region will be revealed.
As the heroic and newbie warlord of Aurora, you confront other warlords with your faithful Eevee, build up your army and keep pillaging to your heart's content.

Along the way, you can purchase helpful items, organize your troops to protect your rapidly expanding kingdom, strengthen your Pokemon and build up your connection with them so they can evolve.

Battles follow the traditional rock-paper-scissors Pokemon style of combat with a few differences. Movement and the obstacles of the surrounding terrain are major factors in the game.

Pokemon Conquest Pokemon Conquest Also, each Pokemon really only has one attack, whether ranged or close combat so you are constantly needing to pick the right Pokemon for the job.

Pokemon aren't the only ones who can throw down either. Warlords have special abilities too which can affect individual Pokemon or the entire army as a whole when brought into play.

Collecting warlords, sorting them into armies (teams) and steadily evolving everyone's Pokemon takes a lot of time and effort. The main story is approximately a hundred plus hours to complete, so just like your regular, annual Poke title, 'Conquest' will keep you busy over the summer until 'Pokémon Black 2 and White 2' hits stores in October.
