VIDEOGAME & BROADCAST INDUSTRIES COLLABORATE ON "GAMERS HEART JAPAN" SPECIAL TO CELEBRATE THE COUNTRY AND RAISE DONATIONS FOR RED CROSS

Members of the global videogame community have come together to create a special video project to show their appreciation for the Japanese game industry and to raise awareness for Red Cross relief efforts for the people of Japan.

Titled "Gamers Heart Japan", this 60-minute special will premiere on April 3, 2011 and be filled with veteran game industry journalists from all over the world as well as some of the top game makers on the planet. Game journalists and game makers participating will be sharing their thoughts on the incredible work and talented creators from the Japanese videogame development scene.

From the very beginning of the medium, Japanese videogames have been incredibly influential in popular culture. In "Gamers Heart Japan", interviewees will talk about the past, present and future of Japan as a games making powerhouse, all the while reminding our viewers that the country could really use our global support in its efforts to rebuild.
